We have to visit a real nuclear bunker from the Cold War in the 1950s. The nuclear bunker is built 4 floors underground.

On the guided tour, we visit the tunnels and spaces down in the nuclear bunker, where people had to hide to survive in the event of a nuclear war.

On the trip we will see the historical exhibition with original military equipment, gas masks, uniforms, pictures and civil defense equipment. The local tour guide will wear an authentic military uniform.

The nuclear bunker's exhibition consists of a collection of the most commonly used equipment used from World War II to 1989. The exhibition includes gas masks, measuring equipment, dozimeters, chemical analyzers, uniforms, army equipment, photographs, books, newspapers, helmets, bags, boxes, flags, needles and authentic original equipment from the bunker.

We will visit the nuclear bunker's tunnel system which includes the various rooms and connecting tunnels people would stay in. After the United States invented and used the atomic bomb at the end of the war, it became inevitable that other countries would follow suit, and a new era of warfare began.

Fortunately, the Cold War never escalated to a real war, but the fear of the war itself was much greater and in itself prevented the war. Preparations were made on both sides, but on the side of the Eastern bloc many more means were spent than on the Western to be prepared. After the end of communism, all the facilities that were meant to be used for the war became useless. Most of them were stopped to be maintained and became victims for the time being.
