Tuesday and Friday 09.00 – 16.00

1000,- Kč

First we will visit the glass plant in the small town of Nizbor where we will see the full production. Glass works out of the 1450 degrees hot molten glass from the melting furnace and blows it into the molds. Then we see the first quality control, where the excess glass is cut waway. In the end of the tour we will vist the grinding shop to see fine patterns to be sanded. Then there is the possibility to buy refreshments in the cafeteria or to shop in the crystal factory shop, where the prices are considerable lower than in Prague.

The trip continues to Karlštejn which is a small town with castle Karlštejn up on top of the hill. The castle was built by Emperor Charles IV in the mid-1300s as a repository of the precious crown jewels and the many relics. It has approx. three hours on their own, where you can choose to walk or ride in a minibus or horse-drawn carriage up to the castle, shop cheaply at the many crystal and souvenir shops, or possibly. enjoy a delicious lunch at one the many good restaurants. A small gift is included.

Entrence fee to the glass works, English speaking guide and pick up service is included
